Your part takes 2 steps.

1. You get the skill from your download page. A skill is a small file of rules Claude pulls up when a job needs it.
2. You paste 1 message into Claude.

Then Claude learns how you write. You paste 5 to 10 things you wrote yourself, like emails, texts, and posts. Claude writes your voice rules, shows you the checker working on a sample message, and walks you through adding it, 1 small step at a time. It waits for you to type done before it moves on.

The last step is a test in a new chat, so you see it work before you close the window. You paste in this line, “Check this: We leverage every detail – and the results speak for themselves.” You’ll know it works when Claude kicks back the word leverage and the short dash, and hands you a fixed version.

What it can and can’t do

It can check the drafts Claude writes for you to send, check anything you paste in, learn the words you never want to see, leave your own words alone, and tell you why it changed a line.

It can’t check what you type in your email app unless you paste it into Claude first. It can’t promise it never misses. When something slips through, you say never say and the word, and Claude hands you 1 new line to paste into your settings. It’s told never to add facts, names, or numbers you didn’t give it, so read each draft before you send it. The check uses a little of your plan on each draft you’ll send. It skips research, notes, and anything you only read, so it stays light.

Don’t buy this if

• You’re on the free plan. This is built for Claude Pro or higher.
• You write almost everything on your phone. The check runs in Claude on the web and in the desktop app, where Anthropic says skills run.
• You never send what Claude writes. If you only use Claude for research, there’s nothing for it to check.
• You want Claude to sound like somebody else. AI Sound Like Me Command learns how you write, from your own words.
