I’m Brian Johnson, and I’ve sold for a living for 25 years.

In my 40s I started over with a laptop and Claude, and I built this.

For close to 15 years I ran everything behind a blog with a business partner. I built the websites, ran the ads, shot the photos and the video, wrote some of the content, and ran the back end. That blog sold somewhere in the neighborhood of $25,000,000 in products, services, and affiliate deals. My partner became a famous blogger, and I helped make that happen.

When it ended, I got scrubbed from all of it. I don’t have 1 screenshot. I can’t point at a single page and say I did that.

Before the blog and the whole time I was behind it, I was selling. I’ve trained people to sell, and I’ve run the sales side of companies.

I’ve been selling for 25 years. I sold cars too. I sold Hummers, Cadillacs, GMCs, Lincoln Navigators, and Escalades, and I was never the sleazy used car guy. I find the pain, then the medicine, and I sell myself first, then my place of business, then the product, in that order.

I know how to grow an audience, and I know how to get that audience to trust you enough to buy what you recommend. I did it for close to 15 years for somebody else.

For over 10 years I was coaching snowboarding at the professional level. That’s where I learned the difference between telling somebody what to do and getting them to do it. It’s why I coach instead of lecture.

I’ve audited more blogs than I can count, and I don’t have records of any of them. I walk in and find what everybody inside missed. After 1 of those audits, the fixes went in and that blog took off.

What people come to me for most is business and relationships. On the business side, they ask how to grow and run more efficiently, how to sell, and how to get leads and close the ones they already have. They ask what to do with the hundreds of leads sitting untouched, what to sell, and how to use AI. On the relationship side, it runs from meeting women to handling arguments to getting through a divorce. I get asked about lifting and snowboarding too.

So in my 40s I started over, with a laptop and Claude, and I built an AI-powered online coaching business. It’s this one, The Paid Path, and it runs on the exact setup I teach.

I talk fast, I’m blunt, and I laugh at my own jokes. I’ve been told I’m too much, and I’m fine with that.
